What's the gorriest movie you've ever wathced?

I would say Cannibal Holocaust but I never really watched the whole thing so I won't count it.

Brain Dead deffinately takes the lead for me. Great movie too.

The Saw series definitely. I didn't find Cannibal Holocaust to be THAT disgusting (probably due to the fact that it's older than dirt). The only scene in that movie that disgusted me was the rape scene.

Probably the end of "Freakshow," a terrible straight-to-DVD horror movie. I'm never phased by something I watch, but the end actually made me mutter, "That's just sick..."

I haven't seen a lot of gory movies.

The Ruins I guess. Someone carves themselves like a turkey, so that counts for something.

I'd have to say saw isn't really as gorry as people make it out to be. The directors just do a good job with the shock factor.

In relation to alot of the gore greats out there, saw looks like my little pony.

Final Destination's even gorrier than saw IMO.

For the gross-out factor, Cannibal Holocaust (remember, every animal killed was real. They also had to reshoot the muskrat scene). For amount of fake blood used, Dead Alive.

Riki-oh (I think that's how you spell it) and next to that would be Saw.

I laughed at how ridiculously gory Riki-Oh was.

I really haven't seen that many gory films. I have the whole Saw series (I-IV) waiting for me, but I just haven't gotten around to seeing them yet. Shaun Of The Dead had some cool gore in it, and the chainsaw scene from Scarface was pretty awesomely shocking (even though it didn't show anything), but I guess other than that, I haven't really seen anything that gory.

There are tons of Japanese gorn (gore-porn) films like Ichi the Killer and The Machine Girl that just go way over the top with the gore just to be stylish while there are others like Audition and Imprint (ironically both Miike films) that use gore in a more realistic and much more disturbing way.

I don't know how to say the "gorriest" film is since I really don't notice the "goriest" movies and such. Gore and blood and disembowlement is just normal everyday **** for me.

Maybe it's Cannibal Holocaust. However I suspect that Philosophy of a Knife will tie with Cannibal Holocaust or meagerly rise above it by a small percentage.

Faces of Death 2... and 4.

Was 4 the one with the fat guy and the shotgun to his head & the guy parachuting into the crocodile pool? Either way 2 was the worst... my god.

Terror Firmer was pretty gory too... and hillarious.

Cannibal holocaust was awful. The gorewasn't really that bad. That turtle scene was the only thing that caught me off guard.

hummer700

I agree, Cannibal Holocaust wasn't bad at all, but the turtle was kinda gross. The goriest film I have ever seen was...I can't remember.

I am about to watch that with a friend, we just have to find 4 hours to devote to it. From what I've read it will easily be one of the most disturbing films I ever see in my life. I was getting sick just reading about what Unit 731 were doing to human beings... and that film is half documentary half "realism" film.

I haven't seen Cannibal Holocaust but I doubt it will come near to matching Philosophy of a Knife. The entire film is about recreating all the experiments on film (using special effects), in full view, while using interviews and such to tell the story of what happened there.

Once you know the trade secrets used to make some of the videos in that film the gore level seems to drop... we for me it did...

I'd say Guinea Pig 2 flower of flesh and blood was probably the goriest film I've ever seen.
