i only do that during fall, winter, and spring. i work for an insurance company delivering mail to people. it's a fun job we do the same thing everyday. fill up the carts, deliver mail, wait for the truck to come, unload carts, take a 30min break, deliver more, unload carts, lunch break, do stuff, deliver, leave for the day.
used to work at McDonalds, it was pretty bad. they're clean though, don't know where they get that bad rep for being dirty. applied at BlockBuster recently, no luck. gonna go apply at other places tomorrow.

I write embedded software for home medical products like blood glucose meters and such. Don't believe what Hollywood tells you. Software design is not all fast cars and hot women.

Yeah, at a big place where they build engines for 4 years, where they've been laying off people lately, and more laying off coming. ...luckily Im still there for now.

I've been through that stage, keep at it though it gives an edge later on.

when did you end up getting a job and what were you doing? I had one in a clothing store for a while at age 16 just doing the usual things, then I waited for a while and finally landed the job at the casino. But I've got friends that didn't bother with a job until 18~19 and they got shot down a lot due to lack of experience. McDonald's is usually taking on a lot of employee's and it's not especially hard to get in.
