The scratch is 1 cm and its not deep it did bleed a little. I washed it with soap and water and the scratch line turned white, back to normal but than after a few mins, it turned red again. I read online that even a small cut like this can cause a infection so im a little paranoid. Its been 10 mins since i got the cut and if i try really hard i can still feel a very small pain in the scratch but it could just be the same with any cut. Please if anyone can help thanks!

There's nothing we can do. The transformation will be complete by sunrise. I...I'm sorry.

Kill yourself before you turn, it's better that way.

Your description is irrelevant to your actual paranoia since its pretty generic and it applies to all cuts whether the cause was pathological or not. Even if it was pathological and an infection is on the way you're not going to be able to tell in 10 minutes, what are you five -_-

You should have sterilized the cut using some alcohol or Iodine. Not sure if its going to do any good now. In any case I wouldn't worry too much especially if you take good care of your cat. I was scratched by street cats a couple of times before and nothing happened. Cats are hygienic animals generally speaking.

It's bites from cats that you have to be careful of. Scratches are generally not something to worry about. I've gotten scratched by my cat plenty of times.

Arise, Cat-Man.

One day they will make a series of movies about you. The third one won't be very good.

Instead of asking online go to a doctor immediately, i guess for dog or cat bites you've to take special injections.

Man up, I got scratched by a stray cat over a year ago, and still got the scar to proof it, you don't see me making a thread on a forum about it.

I get scratched by my car all the time playing with her. Only some cats can transmit "cat scratch fever" and the symptoms are worse than you described.

I suggest visiting a doctor unless you've been previously immunized.

Was your cat radioactive? If so you might end up with cat superpowers.

Anyhow, I have a medium sized dog, I get scratched up with her dirty claws all the time no infection, just a lot of healing scratches that leave scabs and scars on my hands and arms... she doesn't try to hurt me, she can just throw her weight around, and she has long claws because I don't trim them enough, and sometimes she scratches me. I could not get scratched by not playing with her, but that would just be wrong. My dog is too cute not to play with.

But in your case, if you fussing with the cut that just happend and picking at it so much it probably might get infected, let it bleed and congeal, it will heal, just leave it alone, if you pick at it constantly it won't heal. The congealed blood should protect underneath as to not allow outside germs to infect it. If you don't pick that off then you should be fine.

Huh, what a coincidence. I had a brother who got scratched by a random cat once, had all the same symptoms as you. Unfortunately I lost all contact with him one day, when he ended moving away somewhere. Haven't seen him since...

On a lighter note, my family ended up getting a cat the very next day he left. :)

okay, calm down; I'm a medical professional.

Cat scratches are very dangerous, even if the scratch seems relatively minor. to counteract the venom now coursing through your veins, you'll, of course, need dog venom. If you have a dog, rub some peanut butter on the wound and have him lick it off - this will clean the surface and prevent a skin infection. Next, you'll need a sample of his urine - free catch or cystotomy, either is fine. take the urine into a syringe, place a tourniquet on your arm, and inject it into your vein.

after a week, your arm should fall off - this is normal and is a sign of healing. repeat all of those steps until fully healed.

If you dont have a dog, any stray will do. Dogs with mange or rabies obviously have more venom and are therefore preferable.
