So, I've recently become interested in graphic novels and I'm looking for some suggested reading. Some comics that I've enjoyed are:

Watchmen

The Dark Knight Returns

The Killing Joke

American Splendor

Ghost World

Maus

So, if you can recommend me something similar, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You like Moore, so you could try V for Vendetta. Persepolis is supposed to be kind of in the same vein as Maus. If you'd like some comedy then I'd recommend Scott Pilgrim. Pretty darn funny, with some great video game references. The Arrival by Shaun Tan also looks interesting.

I read TDK Returns and Watchmen and loved them both.

I highly reccomend 300. It's a quick read, but it's very enjoyable.

I just bought a copy a week or two ago. It's pretty good, but not in a way that you'd expect from the title.
It's really more about Gordon's origins than Batman's.
I enjoyed it a lot, but I had a problem with how one of the characters turned out in her death compared to the original novel and movie. She was overly slutty.

Berserk, Battle Angel Alita, and Gantz. All are manga, but there all dark and great. Alita is also getting a live action adaption by James Cameron.

Theres always an excuse to sneak a few good porn scenes in. Especially ones where...
a female rapes a male and then stabs him in the face, lawl
