I used to worry that George Lucas would die before he could make EP I,II,III. Then it turned out they were barely worth the wait.

I can't really think of any public figure that I'll be really bummed out when they die.

I doubt he'll be the last, but that will be up to the Tibetan people, regardless of what China does. However China will, no doubt, attempt to install their own handpicked pawn as Dalai Lama, as they've done with the Panchen Lama (the true one was kidnapped by China a mere 3 days after his recognition and has not been seen since) . From what I understand the Dalai Lama has in recent years suggested that he'll possibly reincarnate in the west. I presume this is to lessen China's attempts at interference.
