This is a great quote, and with constant rumor of draft, and the possibility of one this quote is really one to think about:

"How do you force a man to fight, for freedom."

I do. Think about it. It was said during the civil war when a man was trying to figure how he would make men, who wanted to leave stay. How can you force a man to fight for freedom, when just the fact you force them takes there freedom away.

Not that great :|Bourbons3

I find it great, and very relevant. Its so true. Men are forced to fight for freedom, and in doing so they lose all of theres. How could you possibly care about fighting for freedom for anyone, if yours can be taken so easily.

I prefer Eisenhower warning of Military-Industrial Complexes...that still holds true today even after he warned about that in his farewell speech.

You don't have to force a man to fight for freedom. You just have to force him to fight for freedom of another country half way across the world. If someone invaded America a la the movie "Red Dawn", people would be fighting all over this country. There is a difference when the violence is right on your doorstep as opposed to being on your TV.
