kozzy1234
After watching the show on HBO I really, really want to read these books.
I would say The Bible. It has surely been the most influential piece of literature. It is also one of the most ancient and most widely available. ferrari2001I'm going with these. :P
I don't know about the "greatest", but my favorite books are The Forever War (Joe Haldeman) and Into Thin Air (Jon Krakauer).
The Holy Bible.
inb4 atheist criticism too
mindstorm

Na, I wouldn't select something from the fiction genre.
I would go for 'Charles Darwin's Origin of Species'
I'm going with Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake, I've been reading it on and off for the past few months.
Historically, probably the King James Bible
Favourite Non-Fiction Book - The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L. Shirer
Favourite Fictional Book - Ummm, A Thousand Sons? I don't know. I only really read Warhammer 40K novels. I don't usually read Fiction.
