state who u think and why, for me its easil 2pac and biggie in a close second. they were just a voice of a generation and everytime I hear one of thier songs i just cant help but bop my head and sing along. RIP

Eminem. because he is the only rapper that I enjoy listening to.

EDIT: I'm going to change my decision and say Andre 3000 is the greatest ever. I've never heard him spit anything wack. Not on the Outkast albums, not on any features and not even on his singing album which kind of doesn't count in this discussion. His lyrics are on point every time. He hasn't even had a solo album. Jay-Z has spit some very wack rhymes and Biggie used the same lines a lot, i.e. "spread like mustard" on like 3 different songs.

I like eazy-e, eminem, and immortal technique. The game is ok.

All Eyez on Me was the only album I ever liked by him. I dunno, I just found there to be much better rappers in the 90's. Mobb Deep, Wu Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, and OutKast to name a few...as well as the others I mentioned.
