I don't see how AC DC is great....Sweet, same album 17 times.

Anyways, I would pick someone like King Crimson or Frank Zappa just due to the amount of progression there.

Guns N' Roses would be my favorite. Greatest in terms of influence it would be Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Stones, and Zeppelin.

They were great up until Bon Scott died, his sense of humor really made the band IMO.

I could never get into the Who. There's a couple of songs on Tommy, Who's Next and The Who Sell Out that I like but the albums are pretty hit and miss for me. They're a band I respect for their influence but I don't particualrly like.
