Green Street Hooligans slipped through alot of peoples film radar and that is very unfortunate. I highly recommend for all of you to go rent or purchase this film. It is fantastic if you like a great story with great scenes of hand to hand combat. Also a great soundtrack and cast. I have watched this film at least a dozen times and that is saying alot when half of the time I cant get through a full film packed with the garbage that Hollywood has been feeding us lately. Watch this movie this weekend and I'll bump the thread on monday to hear some feedback.
It was an interesting movie and I really enjoyed it. The topic the movie is based on really interested me and Elijah Wood was really good in the movie.

Not true, English fans just get more publicity. I would rate Italy fans as being far more violent, Spanish fans are also pretty bad and generally known for their racism.
I think it may portray England slightly negatively if you are worried about that. However violence like this happens everywhere, everyday. This was just a great movie to watch. Very entertaining.

Not here in the states. I dont know about over there. Their firm's name is the Green Street Elite. And I am pretty sure it is Green Street Hooligans. hmmmm, why do they change film titles? :|
Its a ok film nothing special but stuff like that doesn't happen too often these days since it has become a much more family friendly environment of course you get the odd small fight but that happens wherever there are people drinking alcohol. I think what British football has done over the last 15 years or so is nothing short of a miracle in the 80's a lot of so-called fans went to football to fight and it was out of control to now being very family friendly and the small amount of trouble that does happen every now and again is dealt with by police within minutes of it happening and a lot of the time they deal with stuff before it has any chance of escalating to more than words being exchanged.
