GS Banned vs. Active user ratio?

I wonder if anyone has access to finding how many banned users there are compared to active users..

My out of the blue guess is 1:1 because there seems to be a lot of banned users... What do you think?

I doubt it. You look at each individual forums you see a lot of people. Even if they are gamefaq users. GS and gf are linked so I think it counts. So I doubt its a 1:1 ratio.

Considering over a six month period one can see roughly a 80% turnaround in users, I think its much much higher.

80 % banned - 10 % inactive/AFK - 10 % active

1:100 I would guesstimate.

So I'm saying probably 1 percent of all GS accounts are banned. The rest are either active or inactive (mostly inactive).

I dunno, I'd say theres a lot of banned users though.I know a banned user who used to post here in real life.

Well, if it was banned active GS members Vs. active members, there would be more active members in comparison. Just saying "banned GS users" isn't really specific, at least compared to the "active GS user" variable, which is much more specific, and of course the less specific variable will be much larger.

If you go to Ask the Mods and go all the way back to the oldest threads, you will see that most of the posters that posted there are banned, plus the people that are banned everyday because of whatever reason, and I think it's safe to say there are around as many banned users are there are ACTIVE posters.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that a lot of users that were around early in GS's history are banned.
