Out of the two, I'd choose the SG. But honestly there's a lot of really great guitars out there, and just because a guitar doesn't have a big "Gibson" or "Fender" smacked on the headstock doesn't make them any less good. I bought an Ibanez SZ320 a few months ago and I still can't believe how well it plays. It plays just as good, if not better, than any SG, Strat, or Les Paul that I've ever picked up. It's got absolutely beautiful sustain and tone.
