I honestly don't know. Some people still seem to think that TFG is at the root of all problems, some people like to start ****, some people hold grudges, etc. It's a little ridiculous.

I don't know. I don't think that any of us have brought TFG up in recent times, though I won't deny that some of us respond to it when it is brought up.

It wasn't a bad forum. A lot of people who posted on TFG had either been banned prior to joining TFG, or were banned after they'd joined TFG. A number of TFG posters were people who were disgrunted with certain aspects of GS, but not all posters were like that, and contrary to popular belief, we didn't sit around and bash people all day long.

The forum was great but obviously the premise under which it attracted some people, being a site shown as an alternative to GS, did lead to a couple issues. Though really those thoughts existed before it's just they were never so concentrated in one place.

Well, GameSpot, we have lost another one.
Today one of our finest users, gun-runner, has been banned.
I am sad to see this happen, as he is one of my very good friends.

Brie, I'm so sorry for your loss. But it's inevitable, we will all create our accounts and ultimately those accounts will disappear, if not by banning, then by other means. It's the circle of GS life. It's cruel, but we should remember gun-runner for what he was, funny, charming and a good friend. Though he may not come back, he will forever life on in our e-hearts.
