Guys: how many pairs of shoes do you have?

Including all the dress shoes, boots, casual shoes, and athletic shoes, I have 25 pairs. I'm not a sneakerhead or Imelda Marcos but is 25 shoes excessive for a guy? Brutal honesty welcome and preferred.

I have a pair of bedroom slippers which I rarely use and a pair of working shoes. Hoping to get some hiking boots for Christmas, maybe.

As far as you and too many shoes, it's whatever. I just am surprised because I can't imagine where I would put 25 pairs of shoes.

Why in the living hell do you need 25? I don't think I even own 25 pair of socks.

Two. One for each week.

• 2 pair for work only
• 2 pair for yard work only
• 2 pair for public style shows only
• 2 pair of sandals during spring/summer seasons

So basically just 8 pairs of shoes I have.

(2) pair of dress shoes for work (black and brown depending on work attire)

(1) pair of athletic shoes for running

(2) pair of Vans for casual (1 old worn out pair, 1 nice pair)

(1) pair of old yard work shoes

(1) pair of steel toe boots for when I go to jobsites

I had more than I realized.. I think I have two pairs of flip flops somewhere but I don't count them because I refuse to wear flip flops.

7 pairs overall. The most I ever had.

2 pairs of sneakers, 2 pairs of nicer/dress shoes, 1 pair of flip flops, 1 pair of slippers, 1 pair of snowboots

So I guess 7

I own 5 pairs of running shoes and 1 pair of work boots. Can’t really wear the work boots anymore,only because I’m diabetic.

I used to have over 25. Almost one to match any color/theme I wanted.
But now I only have a few and I keep it simple so that they can match whatever.

Safe to say I have not bought shoes in almost 2 years because of WFH!

Just two pairs of Timbs, one regular and the other black.

i have the same boots. 1 pair of butter timbs and one waterproof black timbs

also a pair of hey dudes, (great walking the dog casual wear)

2 pairs of Nike SB low profiles

pair of flip flops

deer stag casual tan dress shoes

black dress shoes for weddings/funerals

and some slippers

i got 9 pairs of shoes

Edit: 10 pairs, forgot i have a pair of black running shoes for the gym in the gym bag

I get that 25 may be excessive but I’m a big fan of dress boots, chelsea boots, biker boots, Nike Vapormax and Shox. I have shoes that match my dress, casual, and gym outfits and again, I may have gone overboard but at least I put thought and effort into my look unlike most American guys who are slobs.

Off the top of my head...maybe 6.

One pair of regular shoes for walking around, plus some backups (I have a very large, very wide foot so I have to buy shoes when they're on sale since they're kind of pricey for me).

Honestly I don't really understand "shoe collectors", it's always sort of baffled me to see these people with their shoes on display in their own house.

Like of all the things to marvel at, to appreciate...why the thing that stands between your bare feet and the mud?

But then again I have a borderline aversion to fashion, so I wouldn't take me too serious😉 I more or less buy my clothes in bulk and wear the same thing every day (obviously I wear clean clothes, I just have like 8 of the same shirt).

What I am more curious about is this: do you actually wear them all? Or do you just like to collect shoes?

I suppose I get it, I have a massive collection of games I haven't played and frankly I probably won't get to all of them before I die, but I see something that looks interesting and it's on sale and I'm like "Meh, five dollars, I can swing it" and I get it.

25? Yeah a bit excessive, I don’t think I’ve seen any woman with that many pairs.

I grew up in the tropics and shoes are a rarity there for anyone to wear.…..a dead giveaway for a tourist. Only slippers. Now in PA, and it’s still the only thing I wear. I’m just so used to it.

Even in winter……the only time I will wear shoes (only own 1 pair) is if snow is on the ground. I hate them, and cannot stand socks and sweaty feet. I get called out by people on it often, it’s turned into a great conversation starter.

soccer cleats
indoors ( for soccer)
older pair of sneakers for yard work / painting, etc that i don't mind fucking up
slippers
water shoes
2x "casual" brown shoes for work ( when in office used to be a thing )
brown dress shoes
black dress shoes
snow boots

ski boots and rollerblades but they don't really count.

probably a few pairs of older shoes / sneakers floating around the house that i never really wear but that was the list off the top of my head.

I only wear one pair anywhere. If they get too worn out or look rough, I buy a new pair.

Mostly just wear a light pair and put on the steel-toe caps for whatever.

Others are older trainers (sneekers) in case this pair goes to shit.

2 pairs of dress shoes, 1 pair of sneaks. Usually have a pair of sneaks for work and another pair for off work. The work shoes recently went to crap so the off work shoes are multi purpose now. Get a new pair after Xmas.

85-90 pairs. Mostly brand names i.e (Jordans, LeBrons, Nike Dunks, KDs, Versace's, Yeezys + Ultra Boost).

5 but there's only one pair I wear regularly. Add to that a pair of work boots and a really ratty pair of sneakers I wear when I have to mow the lawn. There's also a pair of dress shoes and another pair of sneakers I never wear because they're not comfortable.

Well, in general, if I’ll count all my pairs of shoes for different seasons, there will be about 30. But those which I use regularly, are around 7. I have a problem that when I buy shoes, I usually wear them for one season, and then I get bored with them and I don't want to wear them anymore. But they are still in good condition, so I leave them with the thought "Well, I'll wear them someday." But mostly I don't wear them anymore. That's why I have so many of them.

well i do have a pair of shoes but there are getting old i wanna buy a new one but anyone suggest me where i can buy these kind of trident enchantments shoes..?

Since June 2021 I pretty much wore between 2-3 pairs of shoes.

The next time I probably buy a new pair is Spring (March - June).

I'll take a note.
