What do you think of guys shaving their legs and or rest of their body? Should it be done? Is it weird. And lets not turn this into some war that is pointless...

If you're a swimmer, sure, I can understand. Other that that, what's the point in doing so?

I don't get this logic. Most dudes don't shave their legs, so obviously shaving them is not a part of normal male grooming.

I can see the chest and back area, that's a given. But I've never looked at my legs and said to myself "You know, my leg hair's getting to be a bit unsightly; time to trim 'em up".

I think they should since girls have to and all.

Not really I like a hairy man. A man shaving anywhere but the face seems a bit strange to me.

I hate body hair.

Maybe some ethnic groups can rock it, but personally I find it disgusting.

It's bad enough I gotta shave my face once a week, there's no way I'm messing around with shaving my legs. Besides, I wear pants almost exclusively, so leg hair is a non-issue for me.I'm just happy I don't have a hairy chest or back.

It's never been an issue. I got some hair on them, but it's not like it's wookie length or anything. Never been itchy there, except for the occasional mosquito bite.

Yeah, cause they are lazy and think they are slick. There argument is "Nobody else does it." Well... there was a time when men didn't cook for their selves nor clean up after their selves. And the excuse was the same. "They don't do it, so why should I do it?"

Who looks so who notices? Not everyone needs to do it. Some men don't grow much hair in that area so nobody notices unless their leg looks abnormaly hairy.

Don't need to shave them. Just put some cheap yet reliableduct tape on therethen pull it off. That easy.

Lucky. The stupid pants I have to wear for work are part wool and they suck. Other than that it doesn't tend to be an issue.

Whether something is a part of grooming oneself is partly dependant on societal expectations. There's not really much of a societal expectation for a man to get rid of their leg hair.

Why does everyone have an elaborate reason for what they don't do? Who do you think you're fooling? Why can't you just say what I would say? "I don't do it because I don't **** feel like it." Whatever, if you're not a pretty boy that's fine, but your reasoning doesn'texempt you from the criticism. It's classic, you don't even need an excuse for what you don't do and why you don't do it, but you're trying to sell one. Why?

It's not an excuse.

There simply is no real societal expectation to do it, so that's why men don't do it.

If there was a societal expectation to do it, then they would.

Grooming is, in large part, has alot to do with societal expectations. In fact, if it wasn't for societal expectations, people wouldn't have to groom at all.

It's that simple.

Also, as far as making excuses is concerned, if there is nothing socially obligatory about a man shaving heir legs, so men don't really need an excuse. You, Magnum, act as if guys shaving their legs is considered proper and people are just trying to find excuses not to do it. That's not true because there is no societal expectation saying that men need to shave their legs.

No, shaving just makes it grow faster. I'd rather just let the hair stay there. Which is what I already do.

Trim genital area for the girlfriend, but that's about it.

My opinion on other guys shaving? I don't care. If my girlfriend wanted me to shave my legs or chest then I probably would, but she's fine with it. If other guys out there did the same for WHATEVER reason then who cares? My girlfriend's sister went out with a bodybuilder who always shaved his body, I didn't think any less or more of him because of it.
