guys your quick opinion on this?

ok well... i was plaining on buying a 360 on the 26th... so far i got 150$ and id get about 100-150$ from all my family...

so that would leave me about 100$ to go for it...so my mom says i can get tht for my x-mas present from them... so today my dad tells me i cant get money... hed rather me get some cheap puzzles tht ill never use... than money to help me get something that ill love...

so me n my dad argue for a bit... and i finally say wat ever thnks alot... and then my mom comes up going off on me... she ended up sying tht i gotta say sry to my dad and be nice to him... or im grounded...

so u guys think he deserves an apology... or that im right?

I think your dad is probably right....Video games aren't everything, and if your going to fight with your family over it, you really have to get a new hobby.

Get a gym membership, then you can meet people and have a healthy hobby...

There is so much more out there to do than video games, and it's getting pathetic when every Christmas that's all kids want these days....

Ask for a telescope...A make your own radio kit.... Just something other than games...

and bout the games thing... tbh ive never had a video game system cept pc... and ill i do on here is runescape(little inoline browser game) and i quit tht last week...

Personally, i feel your dad's right. I'm not religious or anything but the way you've planned everything out for a video game is kinda well, sad. I understand that you mightnot have anyone around the house to play with or outside and that you just quit Runescape (about time ^^) but just be grateful for what you get. Most parents (espically mine) see gaming as a nuisance and that when you start to play it often then it starts to irritate them and tell to me to do something constructive. There right...everything in small doses.

Just go apologise, tell him you see the error of his ways and then justify why you wanted one....just going up to him askin for 100 dollars isnt very constructive is it.

BTW, on topic, my family is the other way around. All i get for Christmas, and other holidays, is money. So i can save and then i will buy what i like.

Now, because of that, i can manage my economic way better than my friends. What a cool family i have.

I think he should let his parents know he isn't their project. Their purpose is to take care of him in aspects he himself cannot, like monetary problems. That's what i think. But considering the image i got from his parents, this doesn't help much, now does it?

I'm not sure about your father but mine, and others I have met love to BS there children and make them go insane especially the boys. He probably already bought you a 360 for christmas which is why you won't be getting the money for it.SunofVich

He could be right. But even if he's not I would apologize to your dad. You can always work for the 100 bucks anyway. My brother and I baught both our gamecube and xbox with money we got mowing lawns. It only took us a week and a half to get the money for the xbox.

Just go apologize. What do you have to lose.

Let him know that you thought about it and the money/console isn't that important.
