Last week, Manitoba Public Insurance kicked off its campaign with the digital signs deployed in areas with high frequency of deer-vehicle collisions, including Roblin Boulevard and Wilkes Avenue in Winnipeg, both of which see about 100 of the accidents annually. The message boards warn drivers to "slow down -- watch for deer," but on Sunday morning the sign near Roblin and Haney Street was changed to read "Slow the f--- down". A hacker changed the message for the morning commute and it stayed that way until the afternoon. (from an article by QMI - Quebec Media, Inc)
