Had anyone ever called you ugly?

yup, I used to be a pretty ugly kid. I'd say I was ugly from around 9 until I hit 15-16.

Edit: actually I don't think I was ugly, but that's how long I was called ugly for.

Mainly asshats, along with a couple that were my friends. I was also on a "hit list" to be hit on and asked out as a joke. This list were for "ugly" girls. :/ayanami_rei

Yes, in the fourth grade. But the girl kissed me afterwards so I've been dealing with mixed-messages my entire life. On that note, I'm going to tell you what everyone I've ever loved has told me: You're stupid, you're ugly, and I hate you. NOW GET OUT!

I would say it was about equal to me, maybe slightly more of the same sex.

So, so stupid. No girl ever has any right to call another girl ugly and you're very beautiful, Pearl...I'm guessing they were just jealous. You know what they say, misery loves company. _Marisa_

oh I realize now they were, or just very insecure with themselves feeling the need to belittle people. but when you're at that age and have it happening to you, you're too young to realize it.

so my message to ayanami is to just ignore them, when you're older they'll be nothing more than a funny memory. and most of them end up nowhere in life. an example would be this one girl who was a total tyrant to me in 7th grade. she'd call me names, shove me around, throw things at me, whisper things about me, constantly make fun of me(other kids would do it too, but she was like the leader chick). I actually left the school because of it, but my parents made me go back in 10th grade. and she was just a nobody then, and was doing extremely poor in school. I wouldn't be surprised if she's stuck working at McD's for the rest of her life.
