I'm wondering if you guys would think that the hair / tanning salon would be really busy at around 1pm today?
It seems like a stupid question but I really don't know when people usually get haircuts and crap. I tried to go two Sundays ago and they told me they were booked. I had never gone on a weekend before so I guess it made sense weekends are busy...
I also have never gone around lunchtime...I always went at around 5 or 6pm last semester but I have forbidden>
But I normally call ahead to make sure. This also assures me of getting the girl who normally cuts my hair, who is hot as hell and has a voice like a phone sex operator. Getting shampooed by this young woman is quite nice.
Hell, now that you mention it, I might be due for a haircut right now too...
To answer your question, I just went to hair cut place yesterday, and I also know from past experience, and from asking the people who work there, that it starts getting busy at around 5:00pm.

I would say just call and find out, but personally, I would say yes. Its lunch time and I know a lot of people liek to take their lunches and go get haircuts and whatnot. I would suggest going a little earlier than noon, or like at 2.
I feel so lucky right now. my parents are good friends with the guy that cuts my hair, so I never have to go out to get my haircut. he comes over to our house to do it :D
