Dress up as a Gorilla, hide up in trees (since it'll be dark it will be hard for anyone to find/see you). Wait for the unexpected lovers, childless weirdos and children. When their about to walk under the tree. Jump down, scare the $#!+ out of them, and take their candy. Simple. As. That.
Or if that's not your taste, dress up as a homless guy, get some money and candy. Win-win situation, is it not?
