Spielberg is blown away by writer Stuart Beattie's take on the game in his script entitled HALO THE FALL OF REACH. Spielberg is currently in negotiations to produce a Halo film trilogy. With Spielberg possibly in the producer's chair (if God willing these negotiations work out), who would be his first choice to direct HALO?

Yeah, this is pretty old. I don't care anyway, it's one of around 50 video game movies in development right now, i really cba to follow any or support them when they are released. Hollywood have just ran out of ideas, pure and simple.

meh, Does it have to be a trilogy? I guess, with a cash cow such as the Halo Franchise, but I would love for it to be compacted into one, two hour, mindblowing movie.

I just hope that it doesnot fail like most movies that are based on games

Edit: Maybe First Strike takes place after Halo 1. I don't know its been a long time since I've read them...lol

Halo is the most medicore FPS ive ever played, its a total rehash from a game bungee made and watched fail nearly 15 years ago. A few revolutionairy cool things introduced in the game.. Over hyped, Over dramatized, Over rated. Get over it.

I'm sure whoever makes it will end up butchering it like: Doom, Hitman, Resident Evil, Bloodrayne, Max Payne, Street Fighter, etc...Pittfan666

Big 10-4 on that one dude, every video game movie based off a even a half cool game has come out horrible.. and being halo is pretty lame its self.. OMG aliens! omg galaxy at risk of destruction! YAAAAWWWWNNNN where haven't we heard or seen that one... BUT HEY! lets beat this dead horse a little more and get every 12-15 year old to go to it cause we will rate what should be an R rated movie PG-13, and will get every 18-45 year old over weight virgin to go to it! OMG! AGAIN! We can make cool Halo costumes for these super tards to buy for the openeing of it!

I read The Fall of Reach book and it could make a great movie. Much better than adapting one of the games. Commander-Gree
