Last year we visited relatives. This year, we're visiting friends nearby. We might stop by for a short time and visit relatives. But, the main event will be with the friends.

It's best to spread out one or two turkeys among many people. I think we all got tired of having turkey at (each) home and having it as leftovers for a week.

Mmmmmm. Home-baked ham with all the fat. Yum.

Just changed my signature to;

I was going to change it earlier this week, but totally forgot about it. Oddly enough, we are doing Thanksgiving Dinner for kind of a lunch at like 1pm. People are just arriving. I dunno, I kind of like doing dinner way better than lunch. I dunno, it just feels too early to eat after doing Thanksgiving dinner at like 5:30 for the last 20 years. Anyways, just playing some borderlands on my computer. Then when everyone leaves, my annual Half-Life 2 marathon. I dunno, every year since 2004, I have played through the actual game or one of the episodes, even the original Half-Life usually starting Thanksgiving weekend and then finishing up by around St. Nicks.

First Thanksgiving in a log time where I haven't had to cook or prepare for anything. Going to my grandparents' house for a bit, then my sister is having a b-day party thrown for her at one of her friend's house. From there, maybe going to a friend's house to hang out. Just trying to relax tonight and maybe get in some Black Ops. I have to go into work tomorrow morning so I can't get too crazy. Hopefully work is slow enough tomorrow where I don't have to stay the whole day.

I plan on avoiding my relatives this thanksgiving because they're from my dads side of the family and I don't know them at all. Give me my turkey and I'll be fine.

Well, first I plan on putting up the Holiday tree. Then I'll come close to death in the process of stuffing myself with turkey and various other Thanksgiving commodities.
