This is based on 53 reviews, only 2 of which are negative, so chances are it won't go down too much before its release. 96% is a great sign.

I've been a huge Potter fan since I was 7, when I read the first book. I finished the last book the summer it came out in 2007, and now I'm 18 and I'm thrilled for this last movie. I've already bought my midnight ticket and this will be the first midnight premiere I attend.

Anyone else thrilled as I am, especially after seeing the Rotten Tomatoes score?

When it has over 100 reviews, I'll care about what Rotten Tomatoes says. Not that anything would stop me from seeing this.

Saw it last night.

Not really a Potter fan at all but it was enjoyable.

Rating will probably stay pretty high.

Eh I'm really not a Potter fan so I don't plan to see it anyway. Still, I suppose this is good news for all the HP fans out there.

I still need to see part one. I'm waiting for it to actually come out and seeing how much the percentage drops.

I bet this film is a hell of a lot better than Part I, but I don't see it staying at 96%.

I am vry excited for this myself as well! Will be seeing it Midnight on Thursday!!!

I think that this movie is going to blow the last one out of the water. The first part was meant to be a character development type movie so that you can see the scene and what they all have to go through. This next installment is the war. This will be a fantastic movie if they do the war correct. The action will be simply amazing!

Good for it, but something is now confusing me when I compare this to another recently released movie.

"Wow! Harry Potter part 1 and 2 was so awesome! The first half set up the narrative, and then the second half was all about the war and the emotions that come with the battles. Awesome movie! - 96%"

"Dude! Transformers 3 was so bad! The first half just set up all the narrative and the second half was all about the war and the emotions that come with the battles. Terrible movie! - 36%"

Anyone want to explain the difference? The first half of Transformers was awesome with setting up the plot and Shia Labeouf and the rest acted strongly. The second half was all action, and it was very pretty and also emotional. What makes HP so much better than Transformers?

Clearly fans are trolling. I never understood the appeal of HP, the books were terribly unoriginal.

More or less likely, its the context of the plot. I could care less about the Harry Potter movies so I won't comment on them but I found the plot in Transformers 3 to be a bit dull with mediocre performances. Anyhow, my rule of thumb with Rotten Tomatoes is to wait about a week for the score to stabilize before gauging the movie. Its not uncommon to have 95%+ movies on opening weekends drop to the 70's or lower somewhat quickly once more reviews get in.

I haven't watched Transformers 3, but going off the other movies, HP has deeper themes, more distinctive characters, deeper character development (tho still kind of simplistic compared to some movies), more artistic visual design, a more thoughtfully constructed plot that takes itself more seriously.

Basically, it has more substance.

Deathly Hallows Part I did have alot of problems tho. Decent movie but could have been executed a heck of alot better.

HP was well acted, wasn't filled with cliches, and the audience actually cared about the characters involved. In addition, the females weren't put in solely for the pupose of other actors commenting on how "hot" they look. Michael Bay directed TF3 to attend to his war fetish.

Even if this was at 40% I would never trust a move critic they are so rarely accurate and many dont have a sense of humor that many of us do

for example dude wheres my car and more recently paul blart mall cop

Anyway I guess this is good for potter fans I guess I'll see it since I seen the others

How do you measure a critics "acurateness"? It's their opinion, so it doesn't really make sense to call it innacurate even if you disagree with it.

The office humor was ***** painful. The crazzy boss and asian guy were:|The girl trouble parts were stupid. But hey, we got lots of screaming Labeouf:roll:

And oh look a new government higher up does not trust the auto bots, were have I heard that before.

The action of the second half was great, but did not make up for the ***** of the 1st

The trailer was crap. It just showed a picture of Bane's mask and then scenes from the past two movies.
