I just saw the trailer for it. I'm excited. :D
Anyone see it yet? Anyone excited for it?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I haven't seen it, but it must be on youtube, I'll watch it later.
And yes, I'm very excited for this movie, it's my favorite book in the series, I'm dying to see the black lake in the cavern, if they got it right this will be one of my favorite movies of all time. :D
Harry potter is just a terrible story and a terrible actor thats a terrible human being.MrKittyCat1234
What does the story have to do with the actor? :|
When are those crappy movies going to be over?ZuluEcho14

last book's being made into a two parter, though.
Really? I didn't know that.
But why book seven? It's considerably thinner than 5 and 6, and every new movie's been butchering more than half of its respective book since the third anyway.

I guess because there's a fair amount of content that the movie wouldn't make sense without, like the torture scene.
Meh overrated cliche fantasy books with mostly 1 dimensional chararacters and plots eing turned into films are not my cup of tea. Maybe if they had a good director like Terry Gilliam direct then maybe the films would be better.Film-Guy
Harry Potter doesnt have on dimensional characters
Just the movies have not devoloped them to their fullest
Which makes most of the movies horrible

Most characters in the books are pretty one dimensional, harry especially is one of the most cliche heroes I have ever read. He is the only one to kill the dark lord, reluctant hero, yet his friends do all the interesting stuff. Ron just pisses me off and the others I couldnt care less about. Except Sirius and Lupin, they were pretty awesome. If I am going to dedicate tons of my time to a huge book series like harry potter it better be damn good. There are much better fantasy series out there that deserve films like the Dark Tower series, the book of the new sun series and the song of ice and fire series.

though you have to admit, the way Voldemort died was rather unexpected.

Unexpected in the way that it kinda pissed me off yeah.
it looks awesome and im always excited for a new director because it could mean we get one that lives up to the booksSerraph105
The director they chose isnt really that interesting imo. I dont see why they don't choose a good director like Terry Gilliam or Guillermo Del Toro.

My favourite parts of the series had absolutely nothing to do with the main storyline; like the whole SPEW thing.

I just find most of the books characters very uninteresting and bland. The students interactions are fun but not something I would want to read for 7 books straight, though I already did. Problem with the harry potter world ashide from that there is nothing unique or interesting about it to me, most of it has been done before. Also the harry potter world is pretty black and white most of the time, read a song of ice and fire for some really interesting characters and storylines.

That's kind of why the movies never appealed to me for a while, because they were never in lessons and the whole year seemed to pass by in two days. There's just something cutesy about the mystery solving stuff that goes on within lessons and over breakfast and lunch... fills my heart with joy, it does. >_>
I wasn't that big of a fan of the first movies, they didn't feel special at all. Not like the books...
...but I really want to see this movie. I think that the darker story lines will make much better motion pictures.

I can see why the school setting could be seen as unique but even that has been done before and in a better way. Enders game did the school setting much better imo.

Oh dear. :|
Does Emma do an uhhh well a certain kind of scene in this movie? Preferable no clothes. If not I probably won't watch it. ferrari2001
That would make it rated R or Uncut. Then it wouldn't appeal to all the little kids who like harry potter and the producers would loose money.
[QUOTE="DrCoCoPiMp"]*waiting for that guy who got a crush on Emma*Theokhoth
You mean Planet Earth, or that other guy?
Probably that loser with the Emma Watson sig. Please Log In to post.
