Both written by David Ayers. I saw training day when it first came out and liked it, and just recently saw Harsh Times. I have to say its a great film. I'm wondering if anyone has seen it and can recommend films similar to it? I would add a poll to vote which one you like more but gamespot doesnt like polls anymore...

I wouldn't really know what other films I could recommend that are like that, maybe Crash or Basic(or both)? I hardly remember Training Day and I hated Harsh Times because the character Christian Bale played is an A-hole and unlikeable.

yea watch Crash very beautiful film! Hmm I guess City of God for the gangster stuff but not many people like the film because its in Portuguese so if you don't mind reading subtitles for 2 hours go check it out.

I prefer Training Day more but Harsh Times does have its moments and some good lines in it.
