Book? No.
Movie? Yes.

Television has made me cry more than movies, though.

I don't remember a movie that made my cry, but the book "Marley & Me" had me crying like an idiot. I have a soft spot for animals. I've been gaming for around 25 years, and only one game has brought me close to tears....FFVII. For those that have played it, you know which part. :P

Kinda. I didn't cry, though.

I wasn't really a big fan of it, to be honest. The story was pretty basic and felt empty throughout when it was just showing them hunting for sheep and stuff. I thought the animation quality was pretty poor even for the time it was made.

Yes. I cried when Sam picked up Frodo and scaled Mt. Doom, at the Grey Havens, also at the Grey Havens (but in the book), during the Jedi Purge in Revenge of the Sith (not really, but I got a huge lump in my throat) and when Cpt. Miller got gunned down in Saving Private Ryan.

Well i was a kid when i saw it so maybe I was easier to impress back then. You should see watership down though, its fantastic.

Dark tower (book) made me get teary eyed. Basically after 7 huge books you start to care about the characters and then Stephen King being the Stephen King can't give out a happy ending and instead gives out an ending so messed up and warped that he even put a disclaimer before you read it that if you wanted a happy ending just stop reading. Also when Oy Died, killing the dog is always a cheap shot even if he was the least likable of the group. Forest Gump made me cry when I first saw it and I still have to bite my tongue sometimes... Up came closest in recent memory. Saving private Ryan was spoiled for me since it came out when I was younger and by the time I saw it I knew the ending but it still made me sad.

The end of Oasis made me bawl my eyes out. Never cried over a book, though I'm not much of a reader. Thin Red Line also made me get emotional.

Books - only one book, War and Remembrance (not to be confused with War and Peace). It's the sequel to Winds of War, which follows around a family starting in the 1930s through World War II. The latter part of that book is extremely sad and depressing, but those are the best two books I've ever read. Movies - a few...Saving Private Ryan and Passion of the Christ are two that come to mind right now

A few films have made me cry, and some books have brought me close.
