Has anyone ever tried to kiss a girl and they refused? What did you do?

I finally got to go to a movie with a girl that my mom set up and when we got into the theater about an hour into the movie I leaned in to try and kiss her and she totally just backed up and then sat a seat away from me. It was kind of funny at first but then really strange. After the movie she told my mom to take her home first so I was just stuck at the theater till my mom came back. Has anything like this happened to you guys? Should I call her and apologize or ask her out or something?

That is when I just skip the kissing and go staright to the sex. But thats just me, rookies do not attempt.

On a serious note you should call her and apologize. I find it a bit ridiculous she had to sit a seat away from you imo

Anyway, I've never had this happen to me because I always wait until I'm 100% certain it'll be a successful kiss. It's kind of like that old saying "Don't start fighting until after the battle has been won". However, I know people who this has happened to, and they all have said it's extremely awkward.

You gotta give them the puzzled, "YOU FOOL! Do you realise what you just passed up?!" look.

The whole situation was just really really awkward. I had been out drinking with some friends and I ended going home with one of my friends who is a girl and cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie with her (which is something we do from time to time, but we had never done it while intoxicated before) and my drunk self decides, "hey this is nice, maybe we should start making out now" and I tried to kiss her, and I got a really weird look and she scooted to the other end of the couch. Things were awkward for a good month between us after that.

If it makes you feel better...I've only ever had one kiss. Aaaaaaannnnd thats because my "friend" at the time made it known to everyone including the girl I liked that if I didn't kiss her by the end of the night he was going to make out with me and tell everyone in school that my first kiss was a guy >_> Prior to that though I turned down a kiss from this one girl...she was playing games and I didn't know how to react when she moved in so I backed up. hahah

Why the hell would your mom leave you at the theater while she took the girl home. Did the girl tell your mom that you tried to rape her? I just don't understand that part. Definitely don't apologize either. Also for the record if this was a first date with her, a movie is a horrible idea, so is trying to kiss a girl you hardly know. (Did your mom seriously arrange the date? You must be 10.)
