lets talk about it

I haven't even heard of Salvia before.... en-z-iome either. And from crucifine's post I don't wanna try it
I haven't yet, but plan on doing it in the next month. I know all about it, that it's legal (mods you technically can't lock this then, could you?). A couple of my friends took some 70x extract once, and my one friend was wearing a WWII helmet and holding the pointy bit of a bayonet. As soon as it hit him, he thought he had been shot, and that his friend had already been killed by the germans. I'll keep an eye on this and post my experience with it when I finally do try it.Â
However, I'm taking one and a half geltabs of acid tomorrow night.crucifine

dude 70x thats nuts ive only done 20x and ive done it like 5 times. It costs 60 bucks a gram how much is 70X?
[QUOTE="en-z-io"]I haven't even heard of Salvia before.... cool_ballerme either. And from crucifine's post I don't wanna try it yeah that sounds a little bit dangerous
Yeah, I do admit, I find it strange that something like Salvia (which is legal) causes mental problems in a sizeable amount of people, compared to LSD (which is illegal), which hasn't been much of an issue in terms of mental stability. However, Salvia is a good example of why you shouldn't mess with hallucinogens just to know what a hallucinogen feels like. I'd stake money on many of those mental cases being people who wanted to trip for the sake of tripping (instead of exploring art, music, and nature), and they didn't want to get in trouble with the law, so they unwisely decided to do Salvia, which is, from my observations, fourth in terms of potency, behind DMT, LSD, and Mescaline.crucifine

Have you personally ever done salvia
I don't know where they got the 70x or how much it cost. I have seen 60x available online, and heard of 80 and 120x before. It's widely available online, and many head shops sell it (places that sell incense, tobacco smoking accessories, glass pieces, etc.). They often have advertisements on the radio, on alternative or classic rock stations. crucifineI have heard not to go over 20x if you are inexperienced (like me who has never done any substance before, legal or not,) because it will be so completely crazy that there is a chance it could make you go insane.
To the guy looking for it, google maps your city and do a search for tobacco smoking accessories, see if that turns anything up. If not, try to find a Karmic Connections store in your city. I think they're a chain, but I'm not sure.crucifineI'll try the Google search. I've never heard of Karmic Connections and I'm 99% sure we don't have one here. I live in Canada. And I have also looked into it thoroughly and researched it, and I know the effects and still want to try it under controlled conditions. But I wouldnt just go nuts and start with a 70x extract. I'd work my way up from 1 or 5x in small amounts until I get an effect of some kind. Also..... do you HAVE to smoke it, or can you chew the extract or make a tea from it? I know fresh salvia leaves, you can just chew on them and it will get into your bloodstream, or swallow them (Then it lasts like 20-45 minutes instead of a few minutes too).

Dude dont go fot 1 or 5x you wont feel anything. Believe me 20x is good for starters, you wont go to crazy and you dont hallucinate and see things thats only on the stronger levels like 70x the most intense part only lasts 5 minutes. For your first time you should have a sober sitter with you and someone who has done it before. Its pretty cool though and the moment you exhale the smoke it hits you immediately and u feel its effect immediately. It also weighs you down its so hard to stand up u have to sit. Also the world around u just dissapears kind of and you feel like your in your own little world. But I started of with 20x for my first time and i was ok so dont be scared. It is pretty hard to find even a lot of headshops dont sell it. Me and my friend called up a bunch of tobacco shops and they didnt have it so we called up a spencers and the guy told us a place that had it. and 60 bucks for a gram may sound expensive but it will last you easily 20 seperate trips

Who says the people here are abusing the substance? And what qualifies as a drug?
Is nutmeg a drug because you can get high off of it? In that case, most old ladie's cupboards are stocked full of drugs. I'm normally against drug use as well, mostly because it is illegal. But Salvia is legal so I don't see anything wrong with it. I would like to have at least one 'experience' before I die.
Plus many people use it for purely spiritual purposes. It is just a tool, which some people abuse, but not all. So don't assume that what everyone is doing is wrong. If it is legal and is under controlled conditions, in the right mindset, with proper preparation, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Society is definately hypocritical regarding various substances. And don't say caffeine has no bad effects, because it's terrible for your heart and blood pressure.so we shouldn't drink coffee?

The context in which he used "drugs" was referring to abusive substances such as narcotics, cocaine, mind altering substances, etc. Obviously there are legal "drugs" such as prescription medicines and over the counter medicines.

this stuff will be illegal soon enough. ecstasy was legal when it first hit the streets, until the DEA could convince everyone that it was dangerous so that they could get more funding to fight the war on drugs.romocop33i doubt it due to a few factors, first it only lasts at max 20 minutes and it also has been around for a very long time and there have not been any negative health effects observed

There are no clinical studies showing that caffeine is detrimental to your heart and blood pressure. In some susceptible individuals it can promote irregular heartbeats, but that is uncommon and usually only occurs in large amounts. It does not have any proven issues regarding blood pressure - none in the journals of real medicine.
But you guys miss the point - the term "drugs" is being used to refer to substances used recreationally such as narcotics, cocaine, barbituates, etc. Substances with the intended effect of getting high, or mind alteration, not therapeutics.

He called drug users stupid. I mean no offense to people on a personal level, but there is absolutely nothing intelligent about taking drugs. That's a very wrong statement. To make it as simple as I can since I decided to even respond to this seriously....psylocibin (the thing in mushrooms that makes the trip) is actually good for people, according to studies. It generally makes them 'happier' if the user had a good trip and it makes them sadder, generally (for about a month, respectively) if they had a bad one..Then there's a reversing effects of marijuana when used on glaucmoa patients...Please Log In to post.
