It looks like it would be an ok movie if it didn't have the dragonball names. I mean c'mon Kami created the dragonballs not "seven mystics". Yeesh. I am a fan of the series so I will definately see but I'm prepared to be vary disappointed.

No, you don't need to know the source material to see how bad this movie is. If it was released in the 90's, around the same time as that B-movie Mortal Kombat, then it would be understandable.
