Has there ever been a movie where a kid has died a violent death?

I myself have never seen one. It's become pretty lame since whenever there's a child in a horror movie or any movie for that matter, they are going to live no matter what the odds are.

Why are people so afraid to have it happen?

I just saw Pay it Forward in school the other day, it's horrible compared to the book.

In Enemy at the Gates, a young boy gets hanged... Might not be that violent but still pretty bad

I haven't really seen any I would describe as violent, but there are a few.

Really. Age/race/gender aren't factors to me, all that matters to me is stupid or smart and most don't fall into the latter catagory. Why can't I kill the kids in the game Fable?! But I sure can in Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale, and Deus Ex.

Eye For An Eye (Keifer Sutherland)

The first 15 mintues of this film where so disturbing I turned it off.

A young girl (Around 12) is raped, whilst on the phone to her mother crying "Help me mummy!"

After which Kiefer picks up a large slab of ice (A decorative piece for the little girls birthday party) and slams it down on her head.

The whole scene was very realistic and very graphic, nearly turned my stomach.

As I have children (Young girls) of my own it really struck a nerve.

I didn't think it was a bad movie, though the ending was.
