Has there ever been more spam in OT?

I know it's kinda early, but damn.

And just think...it could ALL go away if they'd just make a lvl 5 requirement to make threads in OT. Guess it would make too much sense though...

Unless people report it, nothing will happen. I report as much of it as I can, but it can be daunting after awhile. 

I think I got rid of most of it. Just keep reporting it. It seems our spam filters don't work worth crap anymore and the team doesn't care as we're about to move to a new website. Going to be a few crappy weeks of spam I think.

I just woke up and saw it. If I was on sooner I would have gotten to it.

I've never seen spam that thick. Had to ban like 30+ different accounts and over 80 posts had to get purged. Mostly in OT.

Yeah, I think I reported 39 different spam threads just in OT this morning.

Yeah, it has gotten really bad the past couple of years, especially since the change in the ToU here it appears.

Today alone, I have reported 50 spam threads with all but one being about college football and that was about kitchens in the UK. :|

Back when I first started on this forum, Level 1 users could not start threads, I think you had to be a Level 3. Since the ToU change, it appears that now Level 1 users can do so.
