The Joker

im thinkign about getting all 3 of them. And which Watchman Novel is the one the movie is being based one because on amazon iv seen like 5 different ones.

Killing Joke. And they must be different editions,there was only one watchmen limited series.

Definitly. The best regular continuity batman I have read,origion of the joker,plus its where he cripples Gordons daughter.

well,the edition I had years ago before all teh sudden popularity just said watchmen and had the smiley face with the blood,maybe there was background but that was the main theme.

I've always loved Batman, but I never got into the comics. With TDK coming out, I thought it was appropriate to buy "The Killing Joke", and I'm still very pleased with the purchase. "The Joker" is a great novel as well, but it's a pretty messed up and graphic (as in violent) novel lol. If you loved how messed up the Joker is in TDK, and don't mind seeing how messed up Gotham City really can be, then it's definitely worth a purchase.

I've read The Killing Joke and Joker. I have yet to read Arkham Asylum, but it is on my list of things to read. The Killing Joke and Joker are both fascinating. They do a really good job of actually diving into the mindset of the Joker and showing how damn insane he really is.

Read the Long Halloween aswell. And there is only one watchmen series. There were 12 issues, all the different ones will have been released at different times. And then theres the documentary book...
