Earthquake yes, as I mentioned in the other thread. Also, I was once in the vicinity of a tsunami, but never a tornado.

Ice storm... in Missouri. It was bad enough to be declared a national emergency last year and our power was out for 4 days.

Just sat through a tiny little earthquake. I thought it was something wrong with the plumbing.

I was in the tsunami in Thailand. I have been in a few earthquakes. I was in a hurricane a few years ago. That is about it.

Oh, yea, and i've been in a few blizzards too, coming from Vermont here. But i didnt think those were natural disasters...

No, I live in South Jersey. Small chance of a Earthquake, Tornado (we've had warnings, rarely, though), and hurricanes are rare too. If at all, they will hit South East and we will get the rain...alot of rain.

Haha, lightning.

Man, I recently had one ****ed up day not too long ago. We had this big nasty storm that hit. Anyway, I'm sitting outside smoking a cigarette, and there's lightning off in the distance. And it sounds BAD, but it seems a good way away. So I'm sitting there smoking my cigarette thinking "I wonder...does worker's comp cover me if I get struck by lightning right now?"

And I wasn't even being serious, I was just thinking about that as a joke. But I kid you not, 30 seconds later there was a blinding flash of light just to the right of me, and a huge BOOM that knocked me off my feet. I could literally HEAR the air sizzling near me, and all of the hair on my arms was standing straight up.

So then I was like, "um...yeah. I think I'm done with my cigarette break", and went back inside to work.

Man that was a crappy day. In addition to nearly getting hit my lightning, my car also got flooded out in the parking lot and our city got hit by a tornado (we NEVER get tornadoes).

No i haven't we don't really get any major natural disasters here in the uk the worst we get is a few inches of snow or some strong winds we do get the odd small tornado or earthquake but i have never experienced those i wouldn't mind going on a tornado chasing holiday did look into them a year or two ago still really want to do that.

Once there was a tornado and I had to get in the closet with my newborn baby brother and my 1 year old cousin and hold onto both of them while everyone else got in the hallway with a mattress on top of them. I was so freakin scared not only for my life but I had the lives of 2 babies in my arms. And then my aunt got out from underneath the mattress and looked outside and the tornado was like 2 streets over you could see it. Thank God it didnt touch us and no one was harmed. About 30 minutes later we ordered gyros from the diner down the sidewalk. They were good.:P

I've lived in Florida my whole life, so I've been through many Hurricanes. From my experience, they're not that bad, and there's no party like a hurricane party. :P

And there was the time my friends and I were stranded under a pavilion in the parking lot of an apartment complex during the worst thunderstorm I've ever seen. That was quite an experience.

Living an San Francisco I see my fair share of earthquakes.

My sister lives in Japan tho and she says they get horrible quakes over there.
