Haven't seen the film though i'm looking forward to seeing it. As for india i love it! Spent about 8 months of my life there spread over 3 trips.

I've seen Slumdog Millionaire, great movie.

But, I've actually been to India. Like can be said of pretty much everywhere in the world, there are places of great beauty, and also places filled with poverty and stuff. Overall it's a pretty cool place. I prefer Japan and South Korea, though. I liked it better than China, however.

I loved the movie, but I doubt it's an entirely accurate depiction of India. Then again, there's no reason it should have been.Cherokee_Jack

my mom watched the movie ( my family is from india, my parents born and brought up there ) and she said it overeggagerated(sp?) how bad india was back then.

i haven't seen it and based on the way all the half-wits in my area have been raving about it... i doubt ill see itAncientNecro

I just saw the movie tonight and I was blown away.

As for India, I dunno, I never paid much attention to it until the attacks a few months ago
