It's almost that time of the year again. If you have one, what is it this year? Mine is to finally clear out my garage so I have some place to put my cars in when the weather is bad outside....
It's not going to work, but if I want to live a healthy, long life, I might as well adhere to it. No caffeine. It's a toughy, but my heart has been doing some crazy stuff and a cardiologist recommended that I stray as far away from soft drinks as I can. So we'll see if I can manage.
All right, so since I decided to clean up my garage early this year by renting a U-Haul and taking everything to the dump yesterday, my new resolution is to keep said garage clean for at least one more year before having to rent a second U-haul next year.
New Year's resolutions are stupid for one simple reason: why wait until Jan. 1 (which is rather a weird time to start the New Year, seeing that by starting the new year on that date, our calendar says that Easter occurs before Christmas which makes no sense, I think December would be a more appropriate month to start the new year on) to make the resolution. Why can't I make my resolution on Dec.1 or April 20 or whenever the heck I want?
