Have you ever actually ENDED a thread?

/thread is a common phrase which some people like to use for some weird, twisted reason. But have you ever actually used this phrase and nobody else replied, literally "ending the thread"?

I never use the phrase, but I have been last to post in many threads.

i remeber i did that once and a mod actually locked a thread, awesome

that never really works. People see that and continue replying... Even if its the same thing you said.

However i have made some comments in threads that just completely turn away other users.
