Yes I forget what movie it was but it was in Japenese with American subtitles. They would give me my money back though since we waited till halfway through the movie.

Never have and never will. I think it's stupid to ask for a refund if there was a movie I didn't like that I was willing to pay to see.

Never thought about it, and never would. That's the risk you take in watching a movie, they don't guarantee it to be good, it's an assumption on your part.

Not really, it is rare that I have to pay to see a film due to friends working in the theatres and my brothers past work time there has made various connections. The most I ever have to pay is like $2-$6. But there are times when I'll had a $20 note and get the note back, which is fine by me.

It's unfortunate that people get offended by such small things. A great movie regardless of the language.

I felt like doing more than asking for a refund after seeing the Collector , but I would not ask for a refund for the movie as it is not the theaters fault it was horrible. If the movie failed to project/show (theaters fault), I would demand a refund.

Nope. I do not see why I should be allowed a refund and pretty much would support a no refund rule. I'm talking about only where the movie's quality is the issue.

This is why I hardly ever go to the theater. If I'm going to watch a movie for $8 then I've got to be sure that I'm going to enjoy it. I don't think the theater should have to refund you for watching a movie you didn't like.

Only once. But that was cause the projector in an attempt to save the audience from anymore punishment decided to have a full blown chemical meltdown. I've never seen a projectionist break down like that before.

I was tempted once: the tickets for "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover" came with a disclaimer that, if you didn't ask for a refund within the first 15 minutes of the start of the "film," you were stuck with the cost. That had to be the longest 15 minutes of any movie (some of the most putrid I've witnessed); unfortunately, I thought it would get better after that, so I stuck with it (huge mistake).
