Have You Ever Been Blocked By Someone In Twitter or Facebook?

So yeah, I got recently blocked by a prominent (locally) lawyer that shares his thoughts about on going cases including the proceedings regarding the financial crisis in PR and I found his tweets quite informative and insightful. The problem is he blocked me at some point last week and I don't know why. While I can be firm I have never been disrespectful to him so it kinda of bummed me out. Now I have to logout if I want to see his Tweets which is a bitch.

I was thinking about creating a new account so I can follow again accounts that have blocked me (2 in specific). I wouldn't be losing much since I'm not too attached to my current account. Yet isn't that kind of sad? Whatever.

So OT, have you ever been blocked by anyone in Twitter or Facebook? Can be a girlfriend or anything. Maybe is you doing the blocking? Share your thoughts.

Nah, never been blocked. Been kicked out of a few Forza 4 servers for kicking too much ass...and for racing backwards.

Got kicked out of a livestream last week. Does that count?

I got fed up with some dude years ago for his hypocrisy that involved my sister. So I called him out on Facebook which led to a block. Also called out another buddy of his who I don't think had a Facebook.

A few people got mad because the former was still going through cancer treatments. Even though that had nothing to do with what I had to say. I've long been at peace with him though. And I don't feel like I owe him an apology. Nor did he ask for one. He should still be alive, or I would have known otherwise.

Well, the mods were too busy flirting with each other while there was a conversation going on about how black people should all be burned and I dared suggest to the mods that instead of trying to shove their tongues down each other's throat they should maybe, just maybe, do what they were being paid for and not let shit like that slide. The people calling for the burning of black people stayed in the chat, I got kicked out. Classy joint :D

Got blocked by my ex because she couldn't figure out what she wanted, so instead of being with who she really wanted to be with, she decided it would just be easier to stick with the same asshole she complained to me about for eight or nine years and block me.

Yeah, got in some dumb fight with one of my friends in high school. I had another friend that was kind of on my side. He told me via Facebook that our other friend had blocked us both. I just found it kind of funny, especially since I rarely even messaged him on there. Nor did I ever post those vague, angry, and obviously directed at someone public posts. But he did, and I imagine that was why he blocked us so he could talk shit without us being able to directly respond.

Yes, I don't hold back ever so people get their feelings hurt because they're weak.

I'm not on Facebook or Twitter enough to get blocked nor do I care to comment on posts by "friends"/family that's based on religion, conspiracies, or prejudice whenever I do visit those accounts...

I've been blocked by Shaun King. I made a comment about some democrats not being progressive enough and are closeted republicans. I guess he didnt like it and blocked me.

I'm not that active to warrant a block against or by me.

I am curious as to whether Trump will be forced to unblock people, as while Twitter is a privately owned platform, Trump is the president and hence holds no right to block people from seeing his statements. As a private citizen he does, as a government official he can't.

Or at least that's the reasoning of some lawyer considering litigation against him. It'll be interesting to see where it goes.

Yep, on both, although it tends to be me who blocks, I just don't tolerate bullshit. Like some girl I knew in my final year of university who was basically an abusive stalker, actually got people to "prank call" me at 3am, saying they'd slit my throat, etc. The cow thought it was oh so hilarious when I confronted her about it.

I'm not the only person she's done it to, so there's some comfort.

No, mainly because I usually do not interact with people on social media that I do not know. I do get into a little disagreement from time to time with friends but nothing so heated it got me blocked. I know there are block bots for if you follow people who post non PC content (which is why blocked by Steve Shives is a meme) so I will just not follow these people so it won't trigger the bot in case I need to contact someone for business reasons.
