sometimes with fatter people i've been unsure if it was a dude or a really ugly chick.
I am then confused in how to address said person

Once. I was around 12 and I had my hair quite long at the time. I was in a store when this old guy got in my way and we had one of those "You go left and the other person goes in the same direction and thus, is still in your way" moments. He stopped and said "Sorry little missy".
:o:o:o
I had my hair cut shortly after.

I used to be, very frequently. I was the only 11 year old boy with shoulder length hair, hahaha. It became decreasingly frequent as I went through puberty, however, I recently had it once again when an old man walked into the male bathroom where I was washing my hands and asked "Is this the ladies toilets?" :P
I think I have, when I was younger. Maybe even nowadays, but nobody says anything.
Never has happened to me. I remember in the 4th grade not being able to tell if my science partner was a male or a female. She even had one of those either or names I think it was Terry or something. I asked her straight up and she punched me right in the face. I learned a lesson that daytestfactor888
She PUNCHED you in the face? That still doesn't clear it up that she's really female. :P
Yes...
I'm almost a 20 year old woman and I get mistaken for a 14 year old boy sometimes, since my hair is short. It doesn't happen often, but when it does they get really embarrassed. :P
Only on the internet, lol. I've never had my gender mistaken in real life. :) Thankfully I'm quite a female-looking-female! ;}
