Yup, but not in the traditional sense.
Basically this girl I was interested in and I had arranged that we would go out the next day for lunch and then see a movie. She stated that she had some errands to take care of in the morning but she would definitely be down for doing something afterwards. When I talked to her, she looked sincere and eager about the event. She said she would finish her errands by 10am at the latest and would call me afterwards to meet up. Come 10am the next day I'm waiting patiently for her call, nothing comes. An hour goes by before I decide I better contact her, I don't want to be too intrusive in case shes still busy so I just send a simple text message asking if she got held up. 5, 10, 15, 20 mins go by and no response. I wait a full hour till 12 oclock before I send her another simple message just asking her if she ran into any problems and asking if we should reschedule. Same thing no response whatsoever. Finally by 1 oclock I decide I should just call her; the phone rings twice before I'm directed to voicemail. I took that as an immediate cue that she was ignoring me. I gave up at that point and just made myself lunch.
A couple hours later she sends me a text saying, "sorry I forgot". I was really dissapointed because theres no way that could be true. We arranged this plan the night before and I had continuously tried to get in touch with her to no avail. I'd rather she flat out said no than just made me wait there thinking we were going to do something.
The worst part is, I was friends with this girl prior to asking her out so I trusted her quite a bit. I really liked her and delluded myself into thinking it was an honest mistake. I got a whole bunch more maybes(aka no but I don't want to hurt your feelings) and I ended up wasting a year chasing after her.
