no i have not. however my family isn't very... 'traditional'... weddings kind of have been, but tradition goes out the window once the booze and reception hits us. ha

Yes, I have actually last month. It was in Las Vegas, NV. I left California for 3 days and partied like a rockstar without much sleep. >_>

That was awesome. Never been to one like that, but I've been to weddings in different cultures etc, if that counts as "non traditional"?

No. I have no desire to go to or be apart of a wedding that is not traditional either. I agree weddings should be fun but they should also be sacred.

Edit: There are exceptions. It really depends on how it's done.

Every wedding I've been to was a regular, traditional wedding. Nothing special, so no dancing, singing, etc.

What's the name of that song?th3warr1or

Forever, by Chris Brown.

Yeah. It was the "relationship song" of me and my first girlfriend. I actually dumped her right around the time Chris beat Rihanna.

This is the first song I've actually mentioned this though. It's also the first song of his that I listened to.

Funnily enough, I was just yesterday invited to a Ukrainian Orthodox wedding. I have no idea what to expect.

All the weddings I have gone to were traditional, in church weddings.

I just wanted to say this, I hate weddings, I would rather shoot some soldier shooting at me, then do some traditional crap! I am a non conformant type of person, never will have a "wedding."

Anyways, yes, it was weird, my uncle tried to dance with me, he was way bigger than me, drunk, and he definately was not the type of person who was in to dancing........

Yeah, we'll wait and see. I'm not big on weddings so I'm debating whether to go. The ceremony doesn't sound too exciting from what I've read, but I suppose it's always good to meet a new crowd. I'll report back if anything trully bizarre happens :P

our wedding was pretty casual. it happened outside, not in church and cost less than $3000. So i would say that's pretty non-traditional.

a couple of good friends are getting married next month. it's going to be a camping themed wedding. atone of those group campground sites here in BC. should be fun, but definitely non-traditional.

i think they are becoming more common, as people throw off the shackles of tradition and exchange vows in a more personal way.
