Yeah twice. It really isn't all that great. Those places are meant for rich guys, the girls don't pay much attention to anybody who doesn't look like they can blow $1000 or $2000 and not bat an eyelash.
I was dragged to one once but I've never returned as I find the atmosphere of those places somewhat distasteful. I am however a big fan of classic burlesque and I've attended many revival shows of that nature. I'm a huge fan of Dita Von Teese and I've really enjoyed the lucha va-va-vooom shows in L.A.

I don't plan on going since I have a girlfriend, and I don't really have much extra cash to throw away on lap dances. one of my friends (it was the one girl out of a bunch of dudes i was hanging out with :lol: ) had the idea to go to one. sadly, it turned out to be 21+, so most of us couldnt go in.

i'm gonna have to disagree. drinks at strip clubs are way too expensive. get drunk before you go, if you want. of course, the clubs that are 21+ tend to be nicer in all ways than 18+ ones.
I've been to one once and it was not all that great, so you got some naked women dancing around on a pole live, and then the others waiting to get on stage are trying to hustle you out of 20 dollars for a 4 minute lapdance and you can't even touch the girl. ridiculous, I've found (in toronto atleast) that about 95% of the strippers were foreigners, barely spoke english, thick accent.
It was also a nuisance to tell a half naked broad every 5 minutes, "no thanks". Waitresses are aggressive too, a beer cost like 8 bucks, so I tried to savour one for like 1 hour and a half and every 15 minutes she would walk by and lift my bottle to see if I was still drinking it.

Most are 21+ here, but I've been to one that's only 18+ once, on halloween.
It was REAL sleazy, and barely any guys, which is a good thing, but it made me feel pretty perverted.
One of the strippers asked if I wanted to "have fun" in the private booth, she basically solicited prostitution, because it cost like $140 to get in the booth, and obviously that kind of money wouldn't be for just stripping. I said something along the lines of "what a waste of money!" and she ignored me for the rest of the night lol.
I will probably go to one with my brother and his friends in a few months when I turn 18. That being said, it will probably be the only time I will ever go.
My brother and his friends dragged me over to one on my trip to Acapulco. To be honest, it was one of the worst experiences of my life: the people there were really strange, the music was really loud, and the place was filled with smoke -- I'm just not that type of person. I mean, if people like that stuff, then that's cool with me, but I really don't want to go to another one again.
