So I'm watching Sienfeld on DVD and it's the one wear Jerry decided that we wouldn't carry a wallet and instead started carring a "European Carry All" a fancy name for man purse. It got me to think about such a think. In the Army during the 60's, 70's and 80's NCO's (mostly Drill Sargent's) carried what was called a map case. It was an OD color cloth bag used for carring maps, pens, pencil's etc. It was called af^gbag Before everyone became so PC. You wouldn't catch an NCO without one. They would put a name tape on it and patches from the different units they belong to, or even qaul. badges. IE Jump wings, Air Assualt wings, etc. When cell phone came out they use to be pretty big in size and some even came with a carring bag and some of those had little pockets in them. Then we moved on to briefcases, just a hard purse. Now we have small backpacks that guys carry to put things in. I've gone out and bought a small laptop bag that's ACU pattern and I use it to carry paperwork that I might need for the day, along with a few other things.
So have you carried any form of the man purse?
