Have you ever cheated in school?

Last year I took power mechanics. We were put in partneres and we were supposed to take apart an engine and put it back together. We took it apart just fine, but when we put it back together we had no idea what we were doing. We even damaged the thing quite a bit. We basically broke a piece off. As people were finishing up they had them tested to see if they still worked. We were pretty sure ours wouldn't start, so we went to the room where all the engines were and swapped ours with a working one. We passed.

I feel sorry for whoever get's that engine this year, but I regret nothing.

I cheated all the time in elementary school during french tests.

No I haven't really actually. There was one time in 9th grade bio when I copied a friends homework for like a 5 pt assignment, though besides for that I'm clean.

Once in middle school.

Yes, a few times in middle school and high school. I don't know anyone who hasn't cheated in school at least once.

Once or twice, I've tried to cheat, but only to fail. Sweat seems to erase all the answers I write on my arm...

Actually, make that three times since I've tried to look on other peoples test before....

One time I cheated (by cheated I mean I took the paper from another student next to me and started copying things) in Chemistry, in the exams of 3rd grade of High School.

As a side-note, the teacher was in the cIassroom and knew what I was doing but she (and most teachers) is accustomed to students not giving a crap about lessons that are not part of their division of lessons (mine was theoretic/humanities division: literature, ancient greek, philosophy etc - chemistry is in applied science) and also for cIasses that are not examined in a panhellenic level.

So I dont feel bad for that.

No. I can't stand cheating or cheaters. It's the reason why humans fail at everything they do in life.. they're selfish and afraid to accept responsability for the things they don't know.

In high school ChemistryI wrote the elements I couldn't remember on my hand. My teacher caught me and asked to see me after class, but I just left. I'm not proud of it, I was a **** back then.

Only once in high school. Never in college, and I don't plan to either since, you know, college matters.

I cheated but for a good reason, most of the teachers i had was flat out terrible

so i really didnt have any other choice

Yes there was a vocab test I needed to pass and I wrote down all the definitions on a tissue paper. When I got to class I pretended I was sick and every once in a while I would "wipe my nose" and cought a look at the answers 8)

Depends on what you consider cheating.

In high school students were encouraged to work together so basically we'd split up the assignments and copy off each other, or get answers from a class that had an earlier period.

In college I never copied, but I did do somethings that were pretty shady. If I ever had to summarize anything for class (which was pretty common) I'd use the auto-summarize tool in word. I'd manipulate fonts, and margins to make papers longer. I would find a paper on a similar subject to mine and steal their resources instead of wasting a weekend sifting through journals, and coming up w/ dead ends. I would change the clock in labs to meet manditory time requierments.

I don't really consider any of this really that bad. It was mostly my work arounds for lazy teaching.

I do it all the time.

Never needed too. I was the one getting copied off of.
