Have you ever made your own music or songs OT? I've made about 4 as far as I can remember (Ridin' to the mornin, and for only you and me) were probably the best ones I've ever done. I have a group and we do all sorts of music, guitar and stuff like R&B. The tracks I made were mainly meant as a gift for my dad as we wanted him to have one of our CD's. They turned out really good though and it always feels good to know that folks put my stuff on their MP3 players!

Yeah, a few years ago I composed a handful of tracks and riffs for an acoustic joke band a friend and I have. Most of it wasn't very good, but some things turned out well. I was always better at writing lyrics, though.

This is the only thing I have recorded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6bNOidmF1o My next step is figuring out a multi-track recording solution, and learning more theory so I can write better songs. I've written songs with lyrics and several people tell me I should be on the radio, but theys just being nice :)

I wrote a few chamber pieces for strings while in high school. Mostly meh... but there was one viola duet in E-minor that really clicked. I bet the sheet music is in a box somewhere back at my parents' house. I should try digging it up one of these days.

I composed a handful of electronic music tracks back when I was in sixth-form (UK equivalent to high school) in the early 2000s.

I wrote a piece for piano in A Minor that is the catchiest, most brain invading song ever written. Gah, my brain.

I've done some arrangements and compositions, though I don't think they're very good, considering I didn't understand as much music theory as I do now. I've also made a few Garageband songs that I'm somewhat proud of.

I've made a lot of music. I did a lot recently at around April-May 2011. Spent quite a bit of money getting some of it orchestrated. Using it for an animated series that I'm creating with the help of some friends.

I compose drone music. It's mainly for my own enjoyment, but I may attempt to release some of it some day.

I have an entire album worth of lyrics that I did back in school about 15 years ago. It's really good stuff but I lack the ability to sing and play an instrument so there it sits. If i wasn't such a defeatest living in self doubt I would shop it around to people who could write the music and play it.

Not songs. They're more like commercial jingles.

I have around thirty demos lying around. Trying to get a studio together so I can flesh them out but it takes money.

I wrote the lyrics for a song once in high school, I don't remember how it went exactly, but at the time I thought I did a pretty good job.

Yep. Its what I want to do. In a band now, going on 6 months. Have about a dozen demos. Pop/ alt rock/electronic. I won an all state award for songwriting last year- some compositions for strings and piano.

I have just recently got Ableton Live 8 Studio for my computer. I have been learning for a month, mostly teaching myself. Its hard to make it sound good though. I figure with enough time invested I will eventually get good enough to be a part time DJ or something. I hope to anyways.

This is the first thing I have made that actually sounds like music. Its only like a min long.

I've tried writing lyrics before but after a while I feel that they get too cheesy sounding so I give up with them and go back and try another at another time. Never wrote a full song though.

Yeah. I have a band that is officially two people. I handle everything but the drums and the post-production stuff (regarding demos).
