Well, I am kinda of dating this girl for the last 4 months and in the first couple of months i kinda of liked her but now i find more and more that i don't like her. However, i have been slowly showing her signs that i am no longer interested in her cause i hardly ever call her back, i am always reluctant for her to come over, etc. Nevertheless, she is so persistent. I feel guilty cause when i met her she was a 24 yr old virgin when i met her no shes not. So i think i feel guiltily to just cut her off since i did take her virginity.

She is the one who first said she didn't want to get serious but has since shown signs that she wants to so i was tricked. And since i have never "officially" said we are going out she has since has suggested that we are in fact "boy friend and girl friend."

And when i try to ignor her i'll get 12 missed calls through out the day.

And me trying to be the "dead beat boy friend" has not effectively worn down her will to the point she just moves on. It seems like it makes her try harder. :/

Have any of you been in this situation and if so what have you done?

nope, but you should break up with her.

You are just leading her on, and there is no point continuing the relationship

Sounds like you should officially just cut her loose. Just say it's not working, better than leading her on like this.

I was in a relationship where I wasn't very interested in her at the end. So it ended.

well this girl really persistantly tried to create something between us and I was in a pretty low state so I went along with it, more out of not having the energy or mental stability to deal with her...didn;t last long and a crazy ex who just wouldn;t take we're over for an answer she actually said no when I broke up with her, then said we'd talk more tomorrow and left..

I was just going through the same thing a couple months ago. I also tried playing the deadbeat boyfriend and it worked for me. I didn't really have to try too hard though...

I don't necessarily date girls. :P In the opposite though, if I don't like the boy then I dump him. :D It doesn't take much to please me either, if they're an ass to me then they get the axe.

Do you realize that kind of attitude is the one women love? The worse you treat her, the closer she'll stay to you.

lol, i thought about that. When i was first seeing her i liked her and i was the one pushing towards her and she was pushing me away. Then when the hormons were turned off i found that we don't have any real common interest and in her normal state she can be quite annoying so i was pretty much giving up on her and then bam here she comes. So i though maybee i should be so clingy on her to push her back away, lol. IDK why i can't just tell her its over, i'm such a coward.

Yes. Simply because she asked me out and it seems like most women today are against that for some foolish reason. So I went out for her out of respect for what she did. I've actually done this more than once. :P

I have dated a girl I didn't like, but in a different way.

She was my first girlfriend. She had an awesome personality, she was smart, funny, we could spend hours just talking about all kinds of stuff and the talk would never get boring, all in all I just loved being around her. But I didn't really like her physically; she was kind of chubby and even though she wasn't ugly she wasn't anything special, either, but after giving it a lot of thought I decided to start dating her anyway, and it just might have been the best decision I've ever made. 4 years later we're still going strong, I love her more than ever; she has even lost some weight since we started dating without me saying anything, and it turns out she looks really pretty with long hair (her hair was shorter than mine when I met her). :)

Yeah. I kinda dated a girl for a week because I felt sorry for her. Needless to say, things weren't working for me so I broke it off. Moral of the story: only go out with someone if you really like them!

OMG! dude by ignoring her your making yourself a CHALLENGE to her, that attracts her more! Didn't you ever see that girl that keeps flirting with you more, and you show NO signs of interest, what does that do? she steps up her game to try to convince you, yet it works to no avail. Just end the relationship in a kind way. By being a challenge to her you only make things worse

Do her a favor and break up with her. nobody needs someone that is not interested in them, the more time pass, the more you gonna feel guilty, and the more problems gonna come. better now than too late (e.g. pregnant. ) You can do the "it is not you, it is me" routine. (TM of George Costanza )

Yes I was in a similar situation, and I broke up with her. There's really no point in continuing a relationship you're not invested in, someone's going to get hurt somewhere down the line. I'm personally of the opinion that in most instances the first person you sleep with isn't going to be the one anyways, and I don't think supporting her illusion that the two of you are going to be together forever is going to do any good.

yes, now grow a pair and just end it. is she your first girlfriend? if so i can see why it would be hard to tell her face to face.

Ah the old "It's not me it's you" situation. No Ican't say I have been there.:P

Break with her if you don't like her and stop hoping that she will break up with you if you are bad enough to her as you are just going to hurt her in the process.

The only time i dated a girl i did not really like it was a blind date. I made it obvious by buying an extra pack of cigarettes and chain smoking during the movie.

It was at a drive in - I left the window open and just lit one after the other.

I totally know what you're going through, because I went through something similar. Never having a gf in highschool made me jump on the first ship I could find, and I wasted 8 months of my life on a girl I didn't even really like. Just break up with her man. If you don't like her anymore, and you still are with her, then you're not living your life for yourself. Relationships are the one time your allowed to be selfish. Since you are hesitant to break up with her you definitely don't want to emotionally destroy her, but I've got bad news. You have do. But you can afford to be nice about it. Get together with her, tell her your breaking up, come up with some BS reasons why (or simply that you just don't love her anymore), and then let her go. The day after I broke up with my gf last year was the best day of my life (although part of that had to do with school just getting out, and going to see Star Trek with my cousin before I flew home).
