back when i was in high school they locked everything on it. peopel could barely do anything fun on the computers. just about everything is locked for websites, locked preferences. in college the labs are really anything u could do.
I installed Counter-Strike and Unreal Tournament on the computers in my debate class. Since the debate season is over early into the second semester, there's nothing left to do once March rolls around.
One of the funniest in school was taking a screenshot of the desktop, deleting all the icons and putting the taskbar along the top of the screen on autohide, and then putting the screenshot as the background....had people ready to rip their hair out trying to figure that one out.
Well everone has to sign in on their own account in my school so if you change the backround on the computer only when you log onto your account on that coumputer will you see it. Last year someone hacked into the system and had every printer in the school printing out something like THE SCHOOL IS ON FIRE! GET OUT! Someone also made it so everytime you log on that a thing would pop up saying their was a bomb in the building and to leave immediatly.
I put Linux on one of the computers - I bet the next person to use it was mighty confused.DJ_Lae
I reformatted 3 hard drives last year. I'm the reason we aren't allowed to install things on the computers.

Wows, those are pic :lol: Wellthere were several versions of Quake, Doom and Age of Empires installed on to the file server. We also used to spend lunchtimes cracking through the system, a friend of mine found the master login file with all the usernames and passwords.

we were a bit more "hardware" orientated at my old school.

Nobody ever "hacked" because they were Macs, and nobody had the brains to do it either. I was more about human interaction tbh, there is nothing like throwing paper balls at some *** sat on the other side of the dividers.

People did that on the keyboards at college but we (the "weirdos") had the last laugh because we can all touchtype and the chumps that pulled that joke can't so they had to scratch their heads for half an hour to log onto Facebook :lol:
I disabled the sonic wall filter for freedom on the internet, put a bloody massacre background pic from South Park, and messed with TONS of people's essays they stored in a public folder
I wrote on one of my teachers computer, "Mr Ed is a douchebag" as the screen saver so it was doing that in the middle of class on the class room projector for all to see. But he's a cool teacher and didn't care.

Hahaa i did that on our schools computers a lot. and last year i played diablo II and played a few games of starcraft with my friends in one of our classes

I change the background and the visual themes of the the PC in the school library. As i'm the leader of school library prefects, I'm also upgrading the the PC which is using Win 98 to Win 2000 pro. I had a problem which the pc does not show the display when turn on the PC. When i'm looking at the back of the PC, I realize that the pc was using the graphic card so the i had a mistake when plug in the VGA plug into the port. Then, i'm put the VGA port plug into the PCI VGA graphic card port. Not just maintaining the PC, i'm also installing the games on the PC that is located at the library counter for personal use. But when the pc was hacked by brilliant students that the access code to the library management software was denied even I'm put the right code, so i decided to put the password access to use the pc so no other non-librarian students can accessing the code to use the pc.
nope, we cant anyway, after a very smart way of hiding halo on the school server so everyone can LAN, the IT techs put so much restriction on us. we cant put stuff on school server, cant delete history, cant change desktop, cant install anything like flash or programs, cant access reg editor (to change restrictions)
