Definitely, especially in regards to my car.
First it broke down at the end of last summer. I had to borrow money from my parents for the fix. I had been paying them back gradually.
Same week I was going to make my last payment to my parents, my car broke down again. I had to borrow MORE money to fix it.
Flash forward to 2 weeks ago. I am prepping to just pay all of what I still owed my parents ($500) in one shot as I had excess money thanks to taxes. Car won't start....
I pay $370 total fixing it, this time without borrowing and am still planning on paying my parents all that money back after getting paid for website I built. I had fixed it on Monday.
That Saturday I am getting ready to go to a concert. My friend was driving over and we were going to just take my car to the concert. He walks in and immediately says "Well guess we're taking my car." Of course I am like "WTF?". He informs me that my windows have all been smashed out. There had apparently been a party of drunken idiots at our complex and they took it upon themselves to wreck my car out of all the cars in the lot....
