Meh. Some people are just sociopaths. They get off on destroying people's feelings as opposed to the conventional ways of getting off. They also lie. A lot. Think Dexter, but instead of taking your life, he just wanted your heart... in pieces. :o

And, in response to the TC, even when I have felt extremely strong attraction to girls in the past, I still wouldn't say that I "loved" them. It may have had the potential to develop, but I am of the opinion that love is usually a mutual and semi-permanent thing (by which I mean-lasts longer than 4 years, which is how long the longest of the two lasted).

Depends. For some girls love is just a word you throw around instead of "I enjoy being around you very much." For other girls love is the term you use when you mean "I want to marry you, be with you forever and I want you to have my children." So depending on the girl I have and don't have a problem with saying "I love you".

My girlfriend was the first one to say "I love you." I would've said it before but I felt like I probably would've scared her off at that point. Kinda felt like I'd be too clingy if I did... And no, she didn't say it just to get in my pants. Although I DID get in her pants. They are quite comfy, except me area got squished whenever I tried to sit down. Fun day :)

It actually is, you'd be surprised.
When you let go of the need to have someone else in your life to determine your happiness, you can live your life at your own pace. I have more time to spend with my friends now that I don't have to worry about pleasing some girl. The whole relationship thing is so romanticized that it's almost ridiculous. A relationship is almost never a good thing, and the divorce rate is so high that to get married is pretty much just not only ruining your life but tossing away your money.
Nothing good can come from a relationship, you'll just ruin your life and make your happiness dependant on another person's actions.
