I myself have had them frequently and it still freaks me out how a moment is perfectly mimicked like how i experienced it before...
Ever had one of these moments and what did you think when experiencing it?

After a tragic event that happened to me 4 years ago, I was having a bunch of daja vu and I started remembering locations and conversations that hadn't happened. The odd thing was not only did I experience daja vu, I also experienced alternative memories... Maybe I was just depressed.
I've had it once or twice and it always feels disorienting. You guys should watch the Vsauce video on Deja Vu. Oddly enough Deja Vu kind of is a glitch in our Brain's matrix, along with all the other Vu's.

@dylandr: Yeah, especially when it goes for like 5-10 seconds.
@dylandr: Have you ever said "I'm having deja vu" while still having deja vu?
That blew me away when it happened that time.
Worse still is when you have a really long deja vú during a conversation, think "I'm just going to stop talking to try and break this" and it still goes on =P
@dylandr: Yep, I mean, a friend of yours coming to you and tell you her her boyfriend cheated on her is no surprise, especially when he's a major douchebag but when you "know" every word that's going to come out of her mouth it gets really creepy.
@skipper847: wut...?
I use to have seizures, fits what ever you want to call them but since they stopped the Deja Vu feelings stopped. That was what the original?.
Well, there was that one time I took my top off and got killed by Greg Kinnear. Bit of deja vu there.

Deja Vu's are caused when the external sensory inputs aren't in sync with our internal processing so having Deja Vu's during seizures makes sense. I'm glad they stopped for you though.

Ikr, just me or is that one of the scarriest things that can happen to a person?

Pretty much. We can deal with what goes on outside no matter how bizarre it may be, but what can one do when their brains start glitching out? Straight up terrifying. @__@"
@dylandr: Lol. Now I'm sure Roy and Moss are incharge of everyone's brains as it keeps glitching out randomly with Deja Vu's and all the other Vu's.
They say people who have a lot of Deja Vu moments are usually smart individuals. I have had them many times, just not recently.

Does that mean you're getting dumber? =P
more times than I can count, though happened more frequently when I was younger and seems to happen less frequently now
missed joke opportunity: "you ever have deja vu?" ... "didn't you just ask that?"

Most likely, hehe.
